How to unlock a layer in Photoshop

Very simple! If you load an image in Photoshop, it will automatically be set to a “background” layer.

Background layers are locked. To unlock the layer in Photoshop, right click the layer in the layers window, and select “Layer from Background”.

when I do this the new layer window pops up asking me to create a new layer0. This guy's either not explaining it correctly, or missed to point out other things like locked background, or all layers locked, but for an amatuer, which there's many in the web, he's dead wrong in explaining it correctly.

Center a web page in CSS

(if you didnt need this ability, just apply margins and width to the body tag instead, and forget using the container div). The container div has the same width as your webpage and, well, contains it. All the code for your web page is placed inside the container div. This will... Read More »
