When I decided to realise my dream of running a handbag website, I started looking around for a web designer, and the choice was daunting to say the least. Luckily, my brother was aware of Mutiny Design and we both liked the look and tone of their own website so I got in touch. At the same time I got in touch with a number of other designers, so that I could compare responses.

Mutiny was the only company which answered every single one of my questions in detail and addressed all my requirements in their quote. From other designers I got standard replies, veiled brush-offs because they assumed I wasn’t going to be a big enough fish and vague emails which didn’t address my requirements. Mutiny was different, and most importantly, they ‘got’ me and understood what I was trying to achieve. Everyone at Mutiny knows how important excellent communication is, and they work hard to understand clients’ needs and respond to them quickly.

We met several times before work began on my website, and throughout the development process there were regular checks with me that the website was shaping up as I wanted it to. When the finished website was handed over to me, it was thrilling. Mutiny had captured what I wanted exactly, and built in all the functionality that I requested, meaning that I regularly get great feedback from customers about the look and usability of the site.

Mutiny has been proactive about making sure my website can handle high levels of demand, and when little faults develop (as they inevitably will) they are quick to fix them, having introduced an excellent fault reporting and management system.

Development work is charged at a very reasonable rate, and means that developing and improving an existing website is not out of reach even for small enterprises.

Choosing Mutiny to design and build my website was my first big decision for my business, and has proved to be an excellent one!
